'Ricercare alla Nuova' is the second track on my album 'Constellations' - and here is the sheet music!
This bundle contains three pieces:
- 'Canzonetta La Grave' by Giuseppe Gumai (1540-1611)
a polyphonic work for four recorders, that forms the inspiration of the Ricercare. Instrumentation: SATB. Level: intermediate.
- 'Ricercare alla Nuova: simple version' by Sarah Jeffery (2017)
a solo work based upon the Canzonetta by Guami. Instrumentation: alto
- 'Ricercare alla Nuova: ornamented version' by Sarah Jeffery (2017)
a solo work based upon the Canzonetta by Guami, with a lot of added ornamentations. Instrumentation: alto. Level: advanced

(note: on my album this track is called 'Ricercare alla Bastarda' but I wanted to make the title more family-friendly..! ;)
